St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church

A six-building parish facility includes the 16,000 square foot main church building that utilizes long span steel framing. Other buildings in this complex include a 5,200 square foot wood-framed Chapel and a 4,100 square foot wood-framed Pastoral Center all designed around serene flower gardens and reflecting pools.
 

Completed in 1999, this facility was the recipient of San Diego AIA's highest honor, the Grand Orchid, for 2000. Also, the Structural Engineers Association of San Diego presented it the Excellence in Structural Engineering Award for 2000.
